With her Dad having grown up on a farm at Yealering and having spent her childhood in Broome, Shannon has always had an affinity with regional Western Australia.
Now, she is an experienced journalist and communicator, having produced stories with a focus on the regions over the course of her career.
Within agriculture, she was the Acting Editor and Senior Journalist at Farm Weekly, WA’s largest selling rural newspaper, as well as a Grains Communications Officer with the Grower Group Alliance. She has also been a Producer and Director for Anvil Media, Australia's leading video production agency for the agricultural sector.
Previously, Shannon worked as a journalist in the Pilbara for Seven West Media and throughout her career has developed valuable connections and relationships with key stakeholders in various industries.
She started Beatts Editing because she has a genuine interest in the stories of rural and regional WA and wants to help her clients tell them.
Jacinta Bolsenbroek
Ag-Communications Specialist
Jacinta Bolsenbroek has more than 15 years experience in ag-communications, and news journalism.
As the previous Senior Journalist for Farm Weekly, Jacinta won numerous awards for her work, including Best Feature article.
Over the years, she has also worked for numerous Fairfax Media newspapers and magazines across Australia, and has experience working with Seven West news and ABC Radio and Broadcasting.
With this experience, Jacinta has produced various hard hitting news and engaging content across various industries, with a strong focus on agricultural, equine, rural and regional news.
In recent years, she has also worked with numerous large corporate business’ and government departments to create a variety of news and corporate communications, helping share key messages and develop valuable connections and relationships with key stakeholders across a variety of industries.
Combining her journalism skills and a genuine love for everything rural, Jacinta has teamed up with Beatts Editing, providing her skills to a variety of agricultural and regional clients.
Rebecca Davies

Rebecca Davies has more than a decade of experience under her belt working in both news media, and government communications roles.
Growing up in the Goldfields and Pilbara, regional and remote Australia has always felt like home. Rebecca’s working career started in the South West, writing for newspapers in Margaret River and Busselton - but eventually saw her head back home to her heartland in Port Hedland and Karratha.
Along with a stint in Sydney working for the major newspapers, she also has experience behind the curtains of government, having spent time in media monitoring and social media content creation at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
From hosting a mornings program, to doing live TV crosses on breaking news - Rebecca has a varied experience of all aspects of the storytelling experience.
Her passion is crafting smart, informative and succinct content - all with her signature sense of spunk and fun.
